Sin duda la Bodega Neudorf es la estrella indiscutible de la región vinícola de Nelson, en Nueva Zelanda. Muy reconocida por su Chardonnay lo es también por su excelente Pinot Noir, que se cultiva en las laderas de Moutere. Y con esa variedad se elabora este Tom’s Block Pinot Noir, que resulta especialmente equilibrado en términos de calidad y precio.
Billante y expresivo, el Neudorf Tom’s Block Pinot Noir 2019, con 13,5% de alcohol, presenta aromas de arándanos maduros y en boca resulta sabroso, equilibrado, aterciopleado y bien concentrado. Equilibrado también en boca, y empieza a ser el momento perfecto para disfrutar de esta añada.

Bob Campbell, MW: 95/100. & Top Rank. Dense, intense pinot noir with dark cherry, peat, malt, anise, spice and dried mushroom flavours—a complex mix of fruit and savoury elements. A deliciously accessible wine that should develop well.
Cameron Douglas MS: 94/100. Grown in Moutere clay gravels soils utilising a natural fermentation process, matured in oak for 18 months before being bottled un-fined and unfiltered – presents a wine with aromas of raspberry and tart cherry, ripe cranberry and a touch of whole berry lifted fruit scents. Floral too with a sweet rose then aromas of wood spices and a touch of smoke. Tense on the palate with firm chalky tannin texture, youthful too with plenty of acidity. A lovely example ready for cellaring till 2022 with best drinking from then and through 2028. Enjoy today as well with food.
James Suckling (JamesSuckling.com): 93/100. There’s such fresh and attractive ripe red cherry on offer here with plenty of spice and perfume, too. The palate has juicy cherry flavor at the core and the tannins are so nicely crafted. Fresh style with good intensity. Drink now.
